Say Goodbye to Boring Photos: Realme’s Live Photos Are Here to Stay

Realme's Live Photos Are Here to Stay

Heads up, Realme fans! Big news coming straight from China. The folks at Realme just revealed they’re bringing Live Photos to some of their phones. You know, that cool feature where you capture a little video clip before the actual picture, making your memories even more special? Yeah, that one.

Here’s the gist:

Live Photos are coming soon-ish: They’ll be arriving with the new Realme UI 6.0, which we expect to launch alongside the upcoming Android 15 update.
Lucky seven get it first: The first Realme phones to score Live Photos are the GT5 Pro, GT5, GT Neo6 (and its SE version), GT Neo5 (and its SE version), and the Realme 12 Pro+. When exactly they’ll get it is still under wraps.
Global availability? The announcement was on Weibo (a Chinese platform), so it’s not 100% clear if phones outside China will get the feature. But hey, we can’t imagine why they wouldn’t!
